Alex Bell is an assistant professor in the Economics Department at Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. His research, grounded in labor economics, focuses on inequality and innovation, with methodological contributions to the study of compensating differentials. His published work has appeared in top economics journals, including American Economic Review and Quarterly Journal of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in computer science and economics from Brown University.
